Today I finished off the first of three scarves in the Fiesta series, and started in on the second. Got half a yard of that one woven. Here’s what the first one looks like, along with a portion of the as-yet-unwoven warp ~
The warp is a very bumpy hand-dyed cotton/rayon mix; the weft yarn on this one is an antique gold tencel. The colors are more intense in the flesh (as it were) than in this photo.
And here, to continue the theme of intense color, is a shot of a sunset we had about a week ago. Inspiration indeed.
