Final Boarding Stages

Here are a few shots of the Fiesta scarves, fresh off the loom ~

They’ve not yet been washed (that’ll be this evening) nor ironed and trimmed (that’ll be tomorrow).  So they’re a bit disheveled and scruffy, but they won’t stay that way!

Here are some up-close-and-personal views showing color and texture more clearly ~

This is #1, woven with an antique gold tencel.

This is #2, woven with a dark red-orange tencel.

And this is #3, with a dusty teal weft yarn.

Each has a different pattern, difficult to see in these images.  The warp is a very textured hand-dyed cotton, wrapped with a thin rayon binder which sends off little glimmers of light now and again.

They will be ready for visitors by noon on Saturday February 18, just in time for Mardi Gras!
